“Kelly From LAP rang me on the off chance of getting my business at my working mens club for our insurance and offered to provide me with a quote, Now I get lots of these calls that I normally brush off but for some reason when I spoke with Kelly her mannerism and the way she offered the quotation swayed me into accepting, I had been with my previous insurer for numerous years and was not really looking at changing, however I agreed that Kelly could provide me with a quote and I was quite sure she would not be able to beat my current, how wrong was I, LAP have saved my business hundreds of pounds and the way Kelly dealt with everything from start to finish was more professional than I ever imagined, nothing was too much trouble and was not pushy or rushing you to make a decision, and everything was super quick and simple.

We had a survey carried out when moving over to LAP from our old Insurers Club-Insure. I must say I think having a survey is a must have as it brought things to light that we were not aware of. Our premium did not change and the survey was included within our premium. It was good as it brought issues to light that may have just been taken for granted. From the start they have been very helpful as we did not the correct paperwork or equipment installed.
Kelly has given us 5 * treatment from the start. She gently prodded me into completing all the work set by the Insurance assessor and the club is in a lot healthier and legal state now.
The survey, although I didn.t like it, was good and made the club think about the most important issues which were lacking in the club. If we had just proceeded with the previous insurers we would have been under insured and in the event of a claim, we would not have received a full payout. I have no regrets in changing our Insurance provider. Not only have LAP saved us money on the policy, we took an option of securing the price for a few years.
The customer service I received was awesome. Kelly was either at the end of the telephone or would respond very very quickly. She gave us confidence in the product we were purchasing. Any documents we needed were sent swiftly and accurately.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LAP to anyone and no time have I been let down by their promises.

I was approached by LAP Insurance in December 2023 regarding the insurance policy for the above establishment asking if they could submit a quote to us which I agreed to.
Once the quote was received and accepted I was informed that a survey would be required to be carried out and Kelly my representative on behalf of LAP outlined the criteria of the survey.
Onn the day of the survey the surveyor arrived and he carried out his survey and we sat down and went through it, all along the way he explained his findings and to be honest there wasn’t much as most of the requirements in the survey should already be in place from either the terms of your licence or under your current policy.
On the conclusion of the survey Kelly from LAP assists you in completing any tasks that are deemed necessary to comply with the survey to the satisfaction of the under writers.
I would recommend the survey as it can bring things to light that you were not aware of and of course legislation is always changing and the survey does bring these things to light.
By completing the survey, I saved £2,700 on last year’s premium and as I have said the survey was of benefit and I do not regret having had the survey and once the survey was completed my premium did not increase from the original quote
I now feel confident that in the event of a claim I am now fully covered and I would have no hesitation in recommending LAP insurance for your insurance cover.

We were not aware of the hardwired electrics requirement. The survey highlighted an area that was not on our radar. We are now confident that in the event of a claim, we are now fully covered.

We didn’t think it was necessary at first to have a survey, as our previous broker/insurance who we had been with for some years, had never done or suggested it. Found out because of the survey how our previous broker/ insurance may not have paid out if we had needed to claim. Because certain things were not in place. LAP Insurance Brokers helped us by providing drafts and explanations and talked us through it. They calmed us down when we thought we had to do everything immediately. You were there for us straight away with answers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LAP. We feel we now have better coverage for less premium and a better relationship. The person doing the survey was helpful and did explain why certain things should have been in place for legal reasons. If we hadn’t had that survey, we would have gone on possibly breaking laws. Our premium did not go up after the survey. The survey was a little daunting as it was something we hadn’t had previously, but LAP talked us through the report when it came out, and we soon made the changes required. We are very pleased we had a survey, as it made me very aware that we could so easily have not been covered previously in the event of a claim. Through this experience I feel if any problems or claims did occur we are in safe hands.

As it turned out we at the club had a good deal with plenty of cover and a bigger benefit was Kelly was only a call /email away .
Another good thing is the company always sends emails asking if all is well and are good at keeping in contact with us which is nice as I’ve only recently taken on this job and it’s good to know it’s a well priced contract with plenty of after sales contact.
We still have 2 years left on our present contract but I cannot see any reason this will not be renewed when the time comes especially with price,range of cover and plenty of after sales contact.

We’ve been with LAP for about 10 years now. Previously we used to deal with a local broker to get our Club insurance arranged but found it much cheaper to use LAP. Every couple of years or so, we check the market to ensure that we’re still getting a great price and yes, we are. About a month before our renewal is due, we always get a text to advise that we’ll be a getting a phone call within the next few days and LAP
always check the club's details and valuation to ensure they quote for the correct cover. Any policy changes are pointed out and advise is given as to how this could affect the club in the event of a claim.
